About
Ann Randall is a freelance writer, photographer and public speaker. She's a regular contributor to diverse American and Canadian niche magazines including WestSound Home & Garden, Northwest Travel & Life; 3rd Act, Dutch the Magazine, Fibre Focus and Meeting News Northwest. You can also find her on the travel website Wander With Wonder.
While she writes classic travel articles about obscure museums in London, ex-pat owned tea salons in Paris and Soviet-era tourism in the Balkans, she also covers stories about the Puget Sound area community where she lives - its artists, food trucks, restaurants, unique businesses and day trips.
She particularly likes writing profiles about people she meets in her travels. She's interviewed determined women artists in Estonia, Latvia, Alaska and Mexico who revived traditional artforms. Sampled the wines of a Dutch winemaker and the beers of a kilt-wearing Norwegian. And tromped the fields of an Alaskan farmer who transformed agricultural practices in Palmer.
